Bead For Life - Eradicated Poverty One Bead At A Time

BeadForLife is a non-profit organization who has a sole purpose of "eradicating poverty by creating bridges of understanding between impoverished Africans and concerned world citizens."
On their website you will find stories behind the women who make the beads and learn exactly how your purchase of the beads helps them and their communities. In the BeadForLife online store you can find beautiful hand crafted necklaces, bracelets, earrings, lip balm, and soap. You can also purchase loose beads to make your own beautiful jewelry, which I think would be a great gift for any crafty loved one. The best thing is that 100% of the profits go to the women who actually make the products in Uganda.
These beads are made from recycled paper. BeadForLife beads are
helping the environment and helping the world.

BeadForLife is part of the Fair Trade Federation, meaning that all the workers are provided with fair wage for the products that they produce. Workers feel treated with dignity and respect and become very proud of the products they produce. The money they earn is used for food, education, clothes and medicine. BeadForLife is creating sustainable opportunities for women, to lift their families out of extreme poverty. To learn more about this awesome organization please visit their website www.BeadForLife.org . Read more about Fair Trade in one of my previous blog posts.

Also, you can support BeadForLife by having a bead party at your home, church, school, or office. Register to have a party here Bead Party.
